We are working with a leading global investment bank that is expanding its Natural Resources & Critical Minerals M&A Advisory team in Sydney. As part of this growth, the firm is looking to appoint a Vice President, although high-performing Senior Associates with strong M&A advisory experience will also be considered.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work across complex, cross-border transactions in one of the most dynamic sectors in the market. The successful candidate will join a well-established, high-performing team known for its collaborative culture, deep sector expertise, and strong deal pipeline. With coverage spanning clients across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, this role will see you actively involved in both execution and client relationship development.
You’ll play a key role in leading transaction processes, developing investment theses, preparing and reviewing detailed financial models, and contributing to strategic decision-making. You’ll also work closely with internal teams including project finance and sector specialists to deliver integrated, high-value outcomes for clients.
We’re looking for individuals with a solid foundation in M&A, gained either at a global investment bank or a top-tier boutique advisory firm. Strong financial modelling, execution capability, and client-facing skills are essential. Prior experience in natural resources is highly regarded, though candidates with strong M&A backgrounds and a genuine interest in the sector are also encouraged to apply.
