We are seeking a new Senior Credit Manager to join the investment fund of a large community group in Sydney. The fund invests across debt and equity with a large pool of capital allocated to private credit. The fund has deployed loans into a range of small to middle market deals in the corporate (generally highly entrepreneurial and profit-making privately-owned companies), and property developers across Australia and New Zealand. The firm has roughly 150 positions with over $500mio of capital deployed.

We are seeking to appoint a Senior Credit Manager, the Manager will have roughly 10 years’ professional experience in credit assessment and analysis. It is most likely that this experience will be within a business or corporate banking context and the candidate is seeking a more nimble and autonomous work environment. Ideally the candidate will have experience across SME lending and property, with a deep understanding of both asset-based and cashflow credit assessment. The role will take loans to a loan approval committee where they will be part of discussions around risk and deal structuring. The role is responsible for all credit documentation, policies and procedures, as well as management of the loan portfolio, refinancing and reviews. The role will have one direct report and reports into the CIO of the fund.
