- Well capitalised fund manager building new private debt business
- Cross sector and hybrid capital debt investment mandate
- High calibre investment team with proven track record
We are excited to be partnering with a leading and high profile Australian alternative investment firm to appoint two new positions into their newly created Private Credit fund. The roles will be at the Senior Analyst and Senior Associate level. The funds mandate is a principal investment business model covering corporate and property private debt investment opportunities in the upper middle market to large cap space. Deals across corporate private debt will include unitranche and TLB facilities for financial sponsors, asset based lending, warehousing and structured finance as well as hybrid growth capital investing. The fund is well capitalised on balance sheet with nimble capital that can be put to work quickly. The roles at the outset will be working as part of a five person investment team.
For the Senior Analyst role we are seeking a 2-3 year investment banking candidate with general industrials, financial sponsors, TMET or leveraged finance M&A experience. We are open to candidates from other sectors who have a keen interest in broader sector coverage and private credit investing. Candidates must come with exceptional financial modelling skills and strong commercial acumen.
For the Senior Associate role we are seeking a candidate with 4-6 years’ experience from investment banking, ideally with some additional experience in private credit investing or debt related transaction experience. This role may be lead for deal execution on transactions so it is expected the candidate has strong understanding of debt structuring and documentation.
For both roles we are seeking candidates who are excited by the opportunity to build a new investment strategy alongside seasoned private credit investors. The firm has a proven track record in business building and capital raising and this is the newest exciting venture for the business.
