About our client:

Platinum Pacific Partners has been mandated by a high profile and prestigious family office, who operate a diverse investment portfolio and boast an exceptional investment performance track record. This is a newly created opportunity that will provide you with exposure across multiple projects and disciplines within a specialist finance team. This role is tailored for a driven Chartered Accountant (CA) professional who has honed their skills in business services and is eager to transition into a dynamic commercial setting within a growth, high-performance business.

Integral to this role is an individual who is a self-starter who will drive change, automation and operational best practice.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Financial Reporting – Responsible for financial accounts and reporting of Family Office (family trust) entities
  • General Accounting – Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliation of transactions, and accruals
  • Financial Transactions – Where required, provide support for planning, and cash flow management and bank transfers for relevant Family Office entities
  • Tax Compliance and Planning – Coordinate and assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws. Optimize tax strategies and identify tax-efficiency opportunities
  • Financial Analysis – Conduct financial analysis to assess the financial health of various investments, perform financial modelling, scenario analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making
  • Assist in ad hoc work and projects


Your background:

  • Tertiary qualified – demonstrated academic track record
  • CA/CPA qualified
  • 4+ years’ experience within Business Services or Fund Management
  • Knowledge of management and financial accounting and tax
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Energetic and enthusiastic self-starter
  • Trustworthiness, integrity, and confidentiality
  • Experience in a professional and discreet office environment
  • Well-developed communication skills and stakeholder management
