Real Estate – Corporate Acquisition and Structured Finance Manager/Director

Platinum Pacific Partners is excited to partner with a leading real estate development group, known for creating world-class projects and living spaces. Our client has developed a portfolio of over $10 billion, including mixed-use projects, over 9,000 apartments, commercial spaces, hotels, and retail developments.

As a senior member of the Finance and Acquisitions team, this role will work across both build-to-sell and build-to-rent projects. You will manage development projects from a finance and structuring perspective, be responsible for negotiation with financiers, provide senior leadership guidance, and mentor junior members of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare asset and fund business plans.
  • Prepare financial modelling and analysis for existing projects.
  • Prepare financial modelling and feasibility reports for new acquisitions.
  • Manage capital relationships with key partners.
  • Manage the procurement and reporting of new project debt facilities.
  • Optimize project value and support the Investment Committee.
  • Oversee financial performance and manage feasibilities. Review project cash flows, assumptions, and forecasts. Support cash flow management and planning.

 

Skills & Experience:

We are seeking a candidate who has had experience within a property developer and/or across financial investments or capital structuring within a bank, REIT or fund. The candidate will have at least seven years’ experience post university. The candidate should be passionate about real estate and ideally have had experience working in alternative sectors such as build-to-rent.

This is a high-performing and fast-paced environment, there will be a multitude of projects and responsibilities to be managed at any given time. It is important the candidate can multi-task, is a problem solver and thinks strategically. The candidate must have exemplary communication skills both verbal and written. The role will potentially be the face of the firm to all financiers, so the capability to negotiate and understand capital structuring is imperative.
