We are excited to partner with a leading global Investment Manager in search of a dynamic and innovative People and Culture Business Partner. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about empowering employees and driving long-term value through talent development and effective people management. This business offers a flexible, collaborative and supportive working environment. We are thinking the role would be part time, preferably 3 days, but could be spread across the week if you need to work shorter days to fit in with school hours.
About the Role:
As a People and Culture Business Partner, you will be instrumental in implementing a variety of human resources and talent initiatives. Your focus will be on delivering the People Strategy while providing generalist HR support across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the entire recruitment process, from job design and evaluation to drafting engaging ads and conducting interviews.
- Women in Finance Initiative: Support the scholarship program at Australian universities by participating in the selection process, managing alumni, and organising networking events.
- Psychometric Reporting: Interpret psychometric assessments and prepare tailored interview questions for hiring managers.
- Visa Management: Collaborate with immigration lawyers and manage documentation for visa-related matters.
- Training and Development: Partner with teams to identify learning needs and recommend suitable training options.
- Performance Appraisals: Facilitate the performance appraisal process, providing guidance to both employees and managers.
- Engagement Survey Coordination: Manage the annual engagement survey, from distribution to analysis and implementation of results.
- Talent Metrics Reporting: Assist in compiling diversity and talent metrics for board reporting.
What We’re Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should be passionate about supporting a fast-paced team and possess the following qualifications:
- Educational Background: Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Business, or Human Resources (postgraduate qualification in Organisational Psychology is a plus).
- HR Expertise: A strong drive for delivering best practices in Human Resources and Talent Management.
- Confidentiality: Discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Experience interpreting Enterprise Agreements and Awards.
- Case Management: Proficiency in managing grievances and performance issues.
- Initiative: Capability to work independently and proactively address challenges.
- Positive Attitude: A “can-do” spirit and enthusiasm for your work.
