Platinum Pacific Partners is currently working with an early-stage, high-profile, and innovative family office to search for a Financial Accountant. This dynamic and innovative environment is led by a high-performing executive team, with a diverse investment portfolio spanning Venture Capital, Listed Equities, Infrastructure, and Real Assets, coupled with a genuine passion for philanthropy. This is an exciting opportunity for a part-qualified or newly qualified Accountant to join a high-performing, boutique business.
This newly-created role will provide you with exposure to multiple projects and disciplines within a specialist finance team. Integral to this role is the need for an individual who is a self-starter capable of driving change, automation, and operational best practices.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Prepare and reconcile balance sheets, general ledger and reconciliations
- Assisting in month end tasks
- Fund performance reporting
- Reporting & Insights – Preparation of customised financial reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis
- Assist in budget and forecast process
- Participate in ad hoc work, projects and driving process improvements
Your background:
- Tertiary qualified – demonstrated academic track record
- CA/CPA (part-qualified/newly qualified)
- Knowledge of management and financial accounting
- 2 to 5 years’ experience in an Accountant role or in a firm with similar job responsibilities
- Advanced Excel
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Energetic and enthusiastic self-starter
