Our client is a young company making waves in the disruption-ready waste resource sector. They specialize in the design, construction, and operation of innovative organics recycling facilities that produce quality-assured soil, compost, and mulch products for urban and agricultural end-user markets across the Eastern Seaboard.
As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will play both a hands-on and strategic role, while also providing support to the Board. Your contributions will have a direct impact on daily operations, as well as ongoing initiatives aimed at analysing and developing strategies that enhance the company’s financial position.

- Analytical: Develop, communicate, and implement the company’s financial strategy
- Financial Management: Oversee the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis
- Growth: Participate in and execute M&A activities.
- Scale: Future-proofing the business is vital. Creation of processes, analytics, and automation to enable significant, sustainable growth.
We are looking for a commercial, strategic finance professional who is well-versed in operating within a high-growth, PE-backed business. Experience with scale-ups, mergers & acquisitions, governance, compliance, and risk management will be critical, as the role assists the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) in steering strategic growth. Your Background:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification, such as CA or CPA.
- 10+ years of experience in a senior financial managerial position within real assets, infrastructure, or logistics.
- Previous experience operating within a high-growth, PE-backed business.
- Strong commercial acumen with strategic thinking, planning, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead by example and demonstrate a strong sense of integrity, ethics, and dependability.
- Ability to work effectively in dynamic environments where critical thinking and innovation are key to achieving success through curiosity and collaboration.
