Our client is a multi-billion-dollar investment firm dedicated to delivering superior investment outcomes for clients. We are delighted to be partnering with them as they seek to appoint a Distribution Associate to join their high performing sales team.

We are seeking a highly motivated and hard working individual who will own a diverse set of responsibilities supporting business development initiatives and servicing of the existing investor base. This role will see the successful candidate engage with key stakeholders across the business and build collaborative relationships across the group.

The ideal candidate will bring previous asset management experience, exceptional communication skills, and strong drive to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the execution of business development strategies to attract new clients and grow existing relationships.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential business opportunities and trends.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and marketing materials to prospective clients.
  • Support the senior business development team in managing client relationships and maintaining regular communication.
  • Coordinate and attend client meetings, conferences, and industry events to promote the fund.
  • Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate and timely information.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, investment PMs, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of business development activities.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.

 

The successful candidate will have 2-4 years previous experience in funds management, or related financial services industry. We are able to consider profiles from either client service, reporting, or operations. Completed relevant tertiary qualifications and ability to demonstrate an understanding of investments. Outstanding communication and strong organisational skills are a must as is the ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic and eagerness to work collaboratively with a great team.

Most importantly, you must be willing to learn, and show enthusiasm in undertaking new tasks. You must be diligent in your approach and be committed to ensuring all areas of the role are completed to the highest of standards.
