- New business build with leading co-founders in the advisory and fintech industry
- Work across the capital stack in a strategic advisory role
- Opportunity to gain hands-on transactional experience and bolster financial modelling skills
Our client is a newly-established, specialist corporate advisory firm with a deep focus on the financial services industry. The business is currently working on sponsor and non-sponsor related M&A, debt capital and strategic reviews for clients. Whilst at the outset the business will be focused on financial services, as the team expands there is scope to cover broader sectors. Clients are leading and well known Australian middle market sponsors and emerging financial services (often tech) companies. The founders of the business come with exceptional track records in advisory, with strong relationships and track records.
Platinum Pacific Partners are seeking to bolster the team’s capabilities with more junior resources across the Analyst and Associate level. The target candidate can come from a range of backgrounds related to corporate finance. They must have skills and understanding of financial modelling, financial due diligence, transaction process management and documentation/pitch book construction. What is non-negotiable is the candidates’ fundamental critical thinking and inquisitive mindset. The candidate must also be aligned to the company’s values of respect and accountability – we are seeking challenger mindsets.
Appropriate candidates will have from one to seven years’ professional experience in M&A or debt advisory. This could come from investment banking, corporate strategy/ strategic treasury roles (ideally within the FIG sector), corporate or debt advisory and banking.
