Due to continued growth, we are seeking a dynamic junior Designated Trading Representative &/or Junior Sales Trader depending on experience level.

This role involves executing institutional client equity orders and developing essential desk tools. You will work within the Sales Trading team and work closely with the Institutional Sales team to deliver market insights and streamline internal workflows.

You will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, leveraging your technical skills and market knowledge to support both internal teams and external clients. Your contributions will be crucial in enhancing the team’s efficiency and effectiveness in managing equity trades and client relationships.

Candidates who have a combination of the following skillsets are encouraged to apply.

  • Ideally 1-5 years experience operating as a Designated Trading Representative and/or Junior Sales Trader, depending on experience level. Ideally you will have some experience as a Designated Trading Representative (DTR) having worked in a similar role and a strong understanding of equity and financial markets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field preferred.
  • Solid understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks relevant to trading.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to code (Python preferred) and maintain complex spreadsheets.
  • Be able to assist the team in managing internal workflows and collating research to provide clients with timely market intelligence.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong comprehension and communication skills, with the ability to monitor and relay market dynamics and client interests effectively.
  • Familiarity with the local equity client base and existing relationships.
  • Strong adaptability to new systems and technologies.
