Client Service Associate – Global Fund Manager

Platinum Pacific Partners are excited to be exclusively partnering with a prestigious and well-known global fund manager who manages assets for both institutions and private investors. They are seeking to appoint a Client Service Associate to cover a 9 month contract for an immediate start in either their Sydney or Melbourne office.

In this role, you will operate as key member of the distribution team, primarily taking responsibility for managing client enquiries, and other activities as necessary to support strategies in the Australian market.

The position also supports the Distribution team through providing feedback to the BDMs for business development opportunities and assistance with reporting.

Key accountabilities:

Client / Advisor Service:

To service Clients (investors, third party distributors, advisors and platform providers) by providing the following services:

  • Answering calls from the Client Services line
  • Responding to emails to the Client Services Inbox
  • Follow up administration work and all forms of client correspondence
  • Provide product and performance information, research technical queries and liaise with relevant internal and external areas
  • Complete customer due diligence requirements as requested
  • Liaise with relevant unit registries
  • Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders


Distribution Support:

  • Provide feedback to the BDMs for business development opportunities arising from call campaigns and/or inbound calls
  • Provide assistance to the Distribution team and broader business as and when required, including:


o Platform reporting
o Inflow/outflow reporting
o Manage rebates
o Platform invoices
o Platform agreements
o Disclosure updates

For your application to be successful, we are looking for :

  • Minimum 2 years experience in unit registry, client or adviser service role in a financial services organisation
  • Understanding of managed funds product structures
  • Strong client service focus
  • RG 146 compliant (or working towards)
  • Self-directed and able to work as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal
  • Ability to identify, think critically, and apply a solution-oriented approach when confronted with problem or challenges
  • Ability to handle competing priorities
  • Working knowledge of all MS Office software.


Please note, this is a 9-month contract and hence working holiday visa candidates who are only able to work for 6months will not be able to be considered.
