Our client, a global specialist consultant, is seeking a proactive and driven Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives within the Australian market. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in the investment management industry and a passion for business development.
Working with the Head of Sales, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, conducting market research, and prospecting potential clients across both institutional and wealth client channels. They will also be responsible for cultivating strong relationships with both new and existing clients, ensuring that client needs are met promptly and with top-tier service.
We are seeking those individuals who bring proven experience from a similar funds management, consulting, or financial markets sales role. A strong understanding of the Australian investment landscape and a technical acumen is essential. A bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as the role demands building trust and long-lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders. We are looking for someone who is proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven.
