A newly created role, this global manager is seeking to recruit a sales professional to join its ranks in Australia. We are seeking to appoint an Associate Director level, funds business development manager who exhibits outstanding relationship management skills and a passion for customer solutions.
Our client is a global alternatives manager with substantial AUM managing a range of technically orientated private credit strategies on behalf of institutional and retail investors. The current team enjoys an open communication and collaborative culture which extends to their client interaction and as such, we are looking for an individual who can develop strong and trusted relationships with the local client landscape.
In this newly created role, you will support the business’ growth initiatives in Australia. This will include developing strategic account plans for all existing clients, AUM retention and developing relationships with prospects through regular and progressive communication.
Profiles of interest are those with 5-10 years’ experience, developed from a similar role in funds management distribution (institutional or wealth client base). Outstanding relationship management skills are a must as is the ability to defend and retain existing AUM whilst ensuring an unwavering focus on winning new business via solution sales. A technical acumen is essential, particularly across credit. For those individuals committed to a successful career in funds distribution, this is a rare and truly exciting opportunity.
